Raleigh International and Progressio International Citizen Service programmes promote sustainable development through the passion and energy of young volunteers working together with rural communities in Nicaragua. Hear from Shahnaz Biggs and other Raleigh volunteers.

Find out from Joel Baker Hernandez what it’s like living and volunteering with young people in an impoverished suburb of Managua. At the age of 13 Joel represented Nicaragua at a ‘Save the Children’ conference in Norway.
