What we do
NSC works in solidarity with Nicaraguan organisations and social movements fighting for social and economic justice by promoting and seeking support for their activities.
How we do it
We co-ordinate speaker tours of the UK by representatives of our Nicaraguan partner organisations. For example, Nicaraguan Fairtrade producer Norma Gadea Paiva visited England and Scotland to speak to Fairtrade activists and women's organisations and to promote Fairtrade organic coffee grown by women farmers.

We organise events to raise funds and awareness about Nicaragua and the work of our partner organisations
We publish news and articles about Nicaragua and our partner organisations. Our magazine Nicaragua Now includes news and features on Nicaragua and the region and also on solidarity activities in the UK. We also publish special reports and briefings.
We provide support in the UK and Nicaragua for Wales NSC and 13 towns and communities in UK with twinning links in Nicaragua including Bristol - Puerto Morazan, Leicester - Masaya, Norwich/Norfolk - El Viejo, Oxford - Leon, Reading - San Francisco Libre, Sheffield - Esteli, Swindon - Ocotal, Islington (London) - Barrio Edgard Munguia, Santa Rosa (Tavistock) - Santa Rosa School (Managua).
